This series was created during the 2017 SALA artist residency at Flinders Medical Centre. I aligned with the Department of Medical Imaging and was able to spend time in each imaging modality (X-Ray, CT, MRI, Angiography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine). I wanted to poeticise the scans and diagnostic imaging that I was seeing, and set about recreating some of these scans using plant life as my subject matter.
